U.S. Mobile Security Firm Offered “Bags of Cash” for Access

NSO group, the organization responsible for the creation of Pegasus, a mega cyberweapon allegedly offered ‘bags of cash’ to Mobilium in exchange for access to their networks. Mobilium is a U.S. based mobile security firm that provides security services to cellular companies around the globe. A whistleblower brought forth these allegations during a Department of Justice criminal investigation into NSO for illegally hacking phones and misusing computer networks.

NSO denies ever doing business with Mobilium and claims to be unaware of any DOJ investigation.
